We are in the home stretch - I'm 37 weeks and 4 days! Things are going very well, still feeling great. I have been having a few more braxton hicks contractions but other than that we are right on schedule :)
We had a great Thanksgiving with our families and are really looking forward to having one more member join us for Christmas :) (hopefully!)
Our house is coming right along and even though things are busy they are running smoothly! Stay tuned and hopefully my next post will be with photos of our new little boy! YAY!

Alright, I do not know where the time is going and I haven't been the best at updating our blog. Below are the latest photos at 35.5 wks almost 36 :)
We have been keeping busy like always. Scott and I received an offer on our house and we accepted, which means we will be moving in the next few weeks. We are to close on December 15th and our little bundle of joy is scheduled to arrive on December 21st. We will be rooming with Scott't parents for a few weeks until our house is complete. Scott has been doing an AMAZING job at trying to get our house completed as quick as possible. Packing and moving our things twice, once with a nine month pregnant wife and once with a wife and newborn is going to be pretty interesting.
I must say I am doing pretty well with everything and not stressing about everything we have coming up, there is really no point in stressing over it, because it is what it is and it will be amazing in the end.
Scott and I LOVE the new house. It is, surprisingly enough, the same floor plan that we have now, but with some personal touches we have put in. We added a fireplace to the living room and a screened in porch, which are two of the main things I have missed being in our house now. I am really looking forward to living in this house, one because my husband built it and two because we will be living in a neighborhood with some of our friends!
This holiday season is going to be completely different than all the others, but I can't believe that our son will be gracing us with his presence in 5 weeks or less! Scott and I toured the hospital where we will be delivering and it made it so much more real! The staff at the hospital, the rooms and the overall experience was fantastic.
I will definitely do my best to keep this blog updated. Our little guy must like when I write about him because he has been moving none stop while I write this post.
Scott and I want to wish everyone a very happy holiday season! We are really looking forward to spending some time with our families for Thanksgiving and we are very excited to have a new bundle of joy with us for Christmas this year! Happy Thanksgiving and Happy Holidays!!

Below are a few photos of the baby's room. We went with (when I say we, I mean I :) ) the African safari theme for the baby- as most of you know I am not one for a lot of color, I am a very neutral person so I love animal prints and earth tones. I absolutely love the bedding for the baby and all of the wonderful items we have received from our families and friends!! I am currently 31.5 weeks pregnant and I cannot believe that we will be meeting our baby in 8.5 short weeks!!!
It seems like yesterday that I was only 8.5 weeks pregnant and we were just starting to tell our families and friends that we were expecting. I cannot wait to meet our little bundle of joy, but I am going to miss being pregnant. He moves all of the time now and being able to see him and feel him move is incredible!
Life has still been pretty crazy and busy, but we are all doing very well! I will be 32 weeks on October 26th :)

Our little man loves football already! We are relaxing tonight and watching the colts game and he is moving around like crazy! I just hope that he doesn't move this much and stay awake all night after he is born :)
I have been pretty busy lately, I guess in a good way it is only preparing me for what is to come. We spent this past weekend in Fort Wayne for our friends wedding. It was a nice time, and it is always great to get away for a little while and stay at a hotel. Work has been crazy busy as well, but I can see the light at the end of the tunnel and I am looking forward to it slowing down.
My favorite time of year has arrived! I absolutely LOVE fall and winter, yes I said it, I love winter. Not only will this winter be the best winter ever since I get to meet our son, but I am looking forward to staying indoors with him all snuggled up in blankets :)
I hope these next few weeks go fast and slow at the same time. I have loved every moment (almost) of this pregnancy and will miss the feeling of him moving around, but I am also getting VERY excited for the next part of actually having him here with us. I know Scott is really looking forward to it as well!!

Almost 29 weeks and officially in my third trimester! Oh where does the time go??!!!? I am so excited to meet this little guy, but we have a lot of prep work to do before he gets here.
29 weeks and growing every day :)
Baby boy Lahrman will be ready to cheer on Purdue with these onesies! I can't wait to dress him in all of his clothes!

Special time with my nephew Brady and niece Alyssa! I sure do miss these kids since I can't see them all the time- it always makes me so happy when they come running at me screaming YAYA!! Love it! Brady will be 5 this October and he just recently started pre-k and Alyssa is 1 and almost 3 months, however, she thinks she is 5 as well. This girl has no fear and will do anything her older brother does. Its scary and funny at the same time :)
Above are some of the items that I fell in love with when I went shopping with my grandma, mom and sister. I love the giraffe print and our little boys room is going to be decorated in just that! I am really looking forward to registering for all of these items, but it will be a challenge as these next few weeks are pretty hectic for me :) I have to thank my sister for helping me pick out what items were going to be necessary, Ill be honest baby shopping is overwhelming, especially since this is our first! Lol :)

20 weeks and 3 days :) And we are having a baby BOY!!!! We are SO thrilled and excited to be having a boy! Scott and I went to our 20 week appointment and had our routine ultrasound that checked the growth of the baby and the organ developments. As we were watching the screen the ultrasound tech asks if we want to know the sex, prior to the appointment Scott and I were very indecisive about finding out or not, and our immediate response was YES! So with a little more searching the tech came across the baby's boy parts and said there it is - I got the biggest smile on my face and said OMG we are having a BOY!!! Scott was looking at the screen and said "How do you know?" I said look between his legs :) LOL those ultrasounds are hard to read. Scott is very excited that he will have a son! It was the BEST day!!! Let the planning begin :)
One of our last vacations before our little one arrives! We spent a long weekend on a houseboat down on lake Patoka in Southern Indiana. It was a blast! The water was so clean compared to where we normally boat in Lafayette :) A great time just hanging out and floating with our friends and I am pretty sure the baby loved it to that I wasn't stressing at work and just kicking my feet up and taking it easy :)

19 weeks and the baby experienced their first concert! NKOTBSB (New Kids On The Block & Backstreet Boys!) This was the first night I really felt the baby! So incredible! I think the baby LOVED the concert :) Scott tends to think that if we are having a boy, he acutally hated the concert and was trying to get out! LOL he's too funny!
I went to the concert with my friends Kara and Beth! We had a blast reliving those teen years- even though it wasn't that long ago. I screamed like a giddy teenager when they came out on stage, singing along to all the songs and dancing our butts off. I will definitely be going back if they ever do a tour again :)

Over the past few weeks we have been pretty busy- I was able to get down to Noblesville last Friday to have dinner with my Grandma for her birthday. I loved it! I miss my family since I don't get to see them much so it is always a great time when we hang out! I am pretty sure they were all excited to see me too and the baby bump that is starting to stick out :)
We were able to spend a relaxing day at the lake on Saturday with some friends. It was a much calmer day on the lake then it was over the 4th of July weekend. We floated in the water down by the dam and then spent the rest of the afternoon floating at the sandbar. The sandbar is where all the boats hang out and play volleyball and the kids enjoy playing in the shallow water and the "sand". We took Maverick with us- he LOVES the lake! Its always nice when we get home because he sleeps for the entire next day which means I get to sleep in :)
Sunday was a day of cleaning and then a relaxing afternoon. Scott suggested we take a jeep ride so we made our rounds and swung by our friends houses. To top of the evening we had dinner at DQ and I brought home a chocolate m&m blizzard! It was delicious!!!
I just took some updated belly photos- I will post those. I need to get better at taking pictures of the fun activities that we do so I can share those as well :)

I am so excited for these next few weeks of my pregnancy- last Thursday July 7th I think I may have felt the baby- they say it feels like a flutter or bubbles- and it kind of did, but I am not 100% sure so I have been paying close attention to the feelings that are going on in my stomach in hopes that it is our little baby moving around in there :) SO EXCITING!

Today we had our 16 week check up. Everything went very well. I have only gained 2 1/2 pounds :) which is good - but apparently this second trimester is when the weight starts catching up with me. The baby's heart rate was 156- which is perfect! We go back to the doctor on August 4th when I am 20 weeks, they will do a routine ultrasound and we can find out the sex of the baby if we want :) A little part of me still doesnt want to find out but I will just go with my gut on the day of the ultrasound. Scott is being such a great husband, he says its up to me to decide if we find out or not.

14 weeks
Officially in my second trimester! We are 14 weeks and 1 day pregnant in this picture. I'm showing a little bit more considering I ate a big lunch :) Not normally like this when I wake up in the mornings. Probably a good thing since I have a long way to go :)
